Damages

We make our App and services available to individual Members and/or DropCar customers registered with DropCar (“Members and/or DropCar customers”) who are interested in obtaining Parking and third party transportation services, commonly referred to as valet parking (“Valet Services”). DropCar, its third party partners who perform the Valet Services (the “Agents” or “Third Party Valet Company”) also have access to the App. (Our Site, Parking App and Valet Services are collectively referred to as the “Services.”)

If you notice damage to your vehicle at your garage please inform the garage attendant immediately and fill-out a garage claim form before exiting the garage. The garage company is responsible for your vehicle and any damage that may occur while in their garage. Once your vehicle exits a garage the garage company assumes no further responsibility for any damage. If you are utilizing a Valet Service and notice damage to your vehicle please inform the valet immediately. Pictures are taken by the valet prior to pick-up and after drop-off. Please note, DropCar assumes no responsibility for damages that were caused while parked in a garage or when moved by a garage attendant or the Third Party Valet Company. Additionally, once a vehicle leaves a garage the garage company can no longer accept any responsibility for any vehicle damage.

DropCar assumes no responsibility for damages that may have been caused while parked in a garage, moved by a garage attendant or moved by the Third Party Valet Company. DropCar has contracted separately with: (i) insured parking garages for Members and/or DropCar customers to park their vehicles and (ii) insured Third Party Valet Companies to provide the valet services for Members and/or DropCar customers. The Member and/or DropCar customer acknowledges that any claim for damage or otherwise shall be made only against the parking garage facility or the Third Party Valet Company performing the services. The Member and/or DropCar customer hereby indemnifies and holds DropCar harmless from any and all claims for damage or otherwise in connection with damage at a parking garage facility or in connection with use of the Third Party Valet Services. Additionally, if a Member or DropCar customer requests the valet to drive with them in their vehicle then the Member and/or DropCar customer’s insurance shall be deemed primary for these purposes.

If you are utilizing a "Car Concierge" service and notice damage to your vehicle please inform the valet immediately. Pictures are taken by the valet prior to pick-up and after drop-off. A DropCar claims manager should be reached immediately at (646) 342-1595 prior to your taking back control of your vehicle so the damage can be verified by the valet at your location. Please note, DropCar assumes no responsibility for damages that were caused while parked in a garage or when moved by a garage attendant. Once a vehicle leaves a garage the garage company can no longer accept any responsibility for any vehicle damage.

Please note that the garage, the Third Party Valet Company and DropCar assume no responsibility for damages to vehicle roof racks, cargo racks, or other vehicle add-ons. Please inquire with your garage directly for more information on garage facility clearance limitations. 

Note, pictures of the vehicle are taken at multiple points of the valet process, and will be provided to you as well for verification.
